It’s time to break out of the legwarmers, jelly shoes, spandex, and Members Only jackets to celebrate one of the best decades ever at this 80’s party featuring the artist with such remake hits as “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “I Saw Him Standing There.”   Ropewalk - A Federal Hill Tavern is an award-winning venue that’s been serving a variety of entrees, seafood, pub fare, and over 155 beers since 1995. The tavern hosts events nightly, and is pleased to announce the appearance of Tiffany on Friday, September 26th, at 8:00 PM.   “Tiffany is an icon of the 80’s, and we can think of no better singer to join us in a rocking celebration of a beloved decade,” says Ropewalk’s General Manager Linda McFaul.   This no-cover event is open to individuals age 21 and older, and there will be 1/2 price drink specials for people dressed up 80’s style, “like they’ve gone ‘Back to the Future’.”   Tiffany rocketed to fame in the 1980’s, and now enjoys a successful career as an actress and singer. She has worked in a variety of musical genres, from pop to dance to country, racking up hits on the Billboard Hot 100 with each new career move. She most recently appeared in SyFy’s Mega Python vs. Gatoroid, and in 2011, released her country album, Rose Tattoo.   Tiffany will be appearing at Ropewalk to raise awareness and funding for one of her favorite charities, Hershey Children’s Hospital in Pennsylvania. Hershey’s sees thousands of children a year, providing hope and care for illness and injuries. The 151 bed facility also features the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and is ranked one of the Best in the Nation by U.S. News and World Report. Ropewalk will donate $500.00 to the charity.   Tiffany has been lauded after recent performances for her energetic on-stage vibe. She has been known to break into the original choreography for the video for “I Think We’re Alone Now,” which went all the way to number one on the Billboard charts in 1987. “I'm proud of the '80s and the music from that time,” Tiffany said. “I just walk into a place and it's old school.” Everyone is welcome at the event to raise money and celebrate the decade with one of its brightest stars. There will be a meet and greet and photo op/autograph signing for one hour prior to the show, followed by her performance.   For more information or an interesting interview, contact Marc McFaul at or visit or call 410-727-1298.
